"GARDENING FOR
LOCAL ENTHUSIASTS"

 Everton Garden Holders, formed over 25 year ago, is a friendly group with a wide range of talks, visits and social events. We meet on the second Monday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in Everton Village Hall.
 We have an excellent and varied programme with speakers from a wide area. Also there is at least one excursion a year, this year visiting Harlow Carr.
 We are affiliated to the RHS and have benefited from the membership. On 9th June have an evening visit to Carlton Walled Gardens. Our other social activities include an Annual Dinner in November and a social get together in August.We also run a very popular annual plant sale in May.
 In the community we have been responsible with the Guides for the planting and maintenance of the Village Flower Bed. We are working very closely with the Primary School to encourage the children with vegetable growing.
